INTRODUCTION:

(3) BC Study Circles at Warangal (1994), Hyderabad (1996), Mahabubnagar (1998), are formed under Cooperative Society Act. Later (9) study circles sanctioned as on 2022.

BUDGET: Between 1996-97 to 2013-14 (18 Years). Budget released is Rs.33.29 Crores. Expenditure is Rs.12.62 Crores.

RESULTS:Total number of Students provided Coaching for various competitive exams from VRO, LIC (PO), APPSC, Group I, II & Civil Services are 14288 and number of students selected for various competitive exams are 2186. The percentage is 15.

ADMISSION PROCESS:

• The candidates for admission of coaching program will be selected on the basis of merit as per the qualification prescribed by the recruitment agency.
• The Rule of Reservation will be strictly followed in selection of the candidates i.e., BCs, SCs, STs, (75:15:10) and 33:1/3%) vacancies are reserved for women candidates.3% reservation for Physically Challenged Candidates.
• The candidates shall be admitted into any course for one time only.

TS BC STUDY CIRCLES AFTER TELANGANA FORMATION:

INTRODUCTION:

          In the Telangana State, there are (12) BC Study Circles are located in all erst-while districts to provide free coaching to eligible BC, unemployed Graduates and Post-Graduates, whose parental annual income does not exceed Rs.5,00,000/- in urban & Rural areas and to prepare them for various competitive examinations conducted by the UPSC, Staff selection Commission, Banking Services, RRB, DSC and State Public Service Commission Examinations.

Three new study circles at Siddipet(2015), Gadwal (2018), Sircilla(2022) are sanctioned after formation of Telangana. Study centers at Jagtial, Nirmal and City College, Hyderabad are also sanctioned.

        Government buildings are constructed at Hyderabad, Warangal, Mahabubnagar, Adilabad, Karimnagar, Khammam, Sangareddy.

ADMISSION PROCESS:

• The candidates for admission of coaching program will be selected on the basis of merit as per the qualification prescribed by the recruitment agency and also by conducting online screening test.
• The Rule of Reservation will be strictly followed in selection of the candidates i.e., BCs, SCs, STs, EBC (75:15:05:05) and 33:1/3%) vacancies are reserved for women candidates. 5% reservation for Physically Challenged Candidates.
• Annual Income limit is enhanced to Rs.5,00,000/- for both rural and urban area from 2022-23 financial year.
• Civil aspirants stipend Rs.5000/-.
• In respect of Civils aspirants Stipend is increased from Rs.3,500/- to Rs.5,000/-. Book Fund is increased from Rs.3,500 to Rs.5,000/-
• TSPSC Group I candidates are also provided stipend of Rs.5000/- per month including transport charges and book fund. Earlier it was only Rs.2,000/- per month.
• Supply of Study Material will be provided other than Civil Service/Group I Coaching programme.
• Faculty remuneration is enhanced from Rs.1500/- per session of 90 minutes to Rs.2500/- for Civils.

• Online coaching programme is being provided in TS BC Study Circle, Hyderabad.  After completion of the programme the same is uploaded in the YOU TUBE CHANNEL (Telangana BC Study Circle) for watching the same by any candidate.
• Telegram app is created and daily 100 MCQs are uploaded. 8000 students have joined the group “TS BC Study Circle”

• Online Live Classes was telecasted for TSPSC Group – I Examination from 25-05-2022 to 26.07.2022 through TSAT & Jai Telangana Channels and they also available in our YouTube Channel “Telangana BC Study Circle”.
• Study Material is also supplied from BC Study Circle based on evaluation of expert professors to all the candidates who have taken coaching of TSPSC Group I and S.I. of Police and Police Constable in the State.
• Digital Monthly Magazine “Vijaya Deepika” are being released from July 2022 onwards. In this magazine, the subjects i.e., General Studies (General Knowledge & Current Affairs, General Science & Technology, Indian Polity, India & Telangana Economy, World, India & Telangana History, India & Telangana Geography, Ecology & Environment, Arithmetic & Reasoning, Essays, Success Stories) are covered which will be useful to the students who are appearing Competitive Exams.

• Out of 12 BC Study Circles, (9) BC Study Circles i.e., Mahabubnagar, Warangal, Hyderabad, Nalgonda, Siddipet, Sangareddy, Adilabad & Karimnagar, Khammam are functioning in Government buildings.
• The Government has also sanctioned to construct permanent building at TS BC Study Circle, Siddipet with an expenditure cost of Rs.415 lakhs.

CAPACITY:

• 100 candidates for each Coaching programme in the TS BC Study Circle will be taken by calling the applications through online.  Candidates will be selected on the basis of Merit and Rule of Reservation as per the existing rules.
• One or two Coaching programmes can be taken in each TS BC Study Circle in the State.
• At present due to many notifications, it is agreed by Prl. Secretary to BCWD to permit 3 to 4 batches of coaching with separate faculty in each study center.

COACHING PROGRAMME OFFERRED:

• At TS BC Study Circle, Hyderabad:
• Coaching programme for UPSC Civil Services (Prelims-cum-Mains) Examination will be taken up every year.
• Coaching programme for UPSC Civil Service (Mains) Examination also being taken up from this year onwards i.e. 2021-22.
• Foundation Course for UPSC, SSC, RRB, Banking Service Recruitment Examinations will be taken up.
• On-line coaching programmes will also be taken from this centre.

At other TS BC Study Circles in the State.

• Foundation Course for SSC, RRB, Banking Service Recruitment Examinations will be taken up.
• Notification based (Central/State/Banking) i.e., Banking Service Recruitment, SSC, RRB, TSPSC Group-I, II, III & IV, Teachers Recruitment, S.I. of Police and Police Constables, Excise Constables and others of Excise Department, Coaching programmes will be taken in all the TS BC Study Circles in the State.

RESULTS:

• From the formation of Telangana i.e., 02.06.2014 to 2022-23, (52746) Candidates were trained in all the BC Study Circles in the State, out of which (4784) were got selected in State/Central and Banking Service Recruitment in different categories of the posts by achieving 22.20 % of success rate.

1. Online coaching programme for TSPSC Group I Telugu Medium with 1600 students has started from 6^th August 2022 onwards through Jayam Publications & YES & YES Publications App Platforms for a period of 3 months.
2. On-line coaching programme for TSPSC Group I English Medium has started from 6^th August 2022 onwards through EDU Republic App Platform for a period of 3 months
3. Online coaching programme for IBPS Banking with (286) Students has been started from 26.07.2022 onwards through Jayam Publications App.
4. Offline coaching programme with 1200 students for TSPSC Group I is started in (12) BC Study Circles on 27.04.2022 has been completed in July 2022 for a period of 3 months.
5. Offline Coaching programme with (1000) students for S.I. of Police and Police Constable started (9) BC Study Circles on 09.05.2022 has been completed in July 2022 for a period of 3 months.
6. Online Live Classes telecasting for TSPSC Group – I/SI Examination from 25-05-2022 through TSAT & Jai Telangana & YouTube Channel “Telangana BC Study Circle” has been completed on 26^th July 2022. Approx 5000 viewers recorded in each channel.
7. Group I Study Centers with 100 students each are started at Jagtial, Nirmal Districts and “City College”, Hyderabad is completed in Septmeber 2022.
8. 50 BC Study Centers have been selected for conducting the coaching programme of Group III & IV for period of (3) months.  Out of which 37 BC Study Centers have been opened in different spells from 15^th Sept., 2022.
9. The Coaching programme for UPSC Civil Service (Prelims-cum-Mains) Examination, 2023 is started at OU Centre, Hyderabad and TS BC Study Circle, Hanmakonda (Warangal) from 17.10.2022 to 29.05.2023.
10. Online coaching programme for SBI Probationary Officers Recruitment has been started from 28.10.2022 to 27.12.2022 for (50) Candidates.
11. Physical Test Free Training programme for S.I. of Police & Police Constable (100) candidates given in each of the 15 BC Study Circle/BC Study Centre. Hyderabad, Adilabad and Khammam Study Circles with 250 candidates each from 10^th November, 2022 has completed.
12. Offline Coaching Program for S.I. of Police & Police Constable (Mains) Examination has been started in all (12) BC Study Circles from 05.01.2023 onwards for a period of 3 months has been completed on 31.03.2023
13. TSPSC Group II coaching program have been started from 07-02- 2023 onwards in all (11) TS BC Study Circles in the state and (1) TS BC Study Center at Govt. City College, Hyderabad. The coaching programme is going to be closed in the 2^nd Week of May, 2023.
14. Live Telecast of Online Coaching Classes through Jai Telangana & IBN         News TV Channels for TSPSC Group II (Prelims) Exams have been   started from 27-02-2023 onwards for a period of 2 months has been completed on 26-04-2023.
15. Group I Mains Coaching is stopped on 18^th March as TSPSC cancelled the exam.
16. UPSC Civils (Prelims cum Mains) Coaching Programme completed on 29^th April 2023.

• Two special coaching programmes of UPSC Civil Service (Prelims and Mains) Examination 2019 & 2020 which was conducted at OU Centre, Hyderabad has been completed successfully.  In the 1^st batch (358) candidates have appeared and (2) candidates have been selected for Main Examination. In the 2^nd batch (60) candidates have appeared in the Examination. In the 3^rd batch (43) candidates have appeared and (2) candidates have been selected for the Main Examination.
• Group II (Mock Interview): Out of 558 candidates 244 were selected.
• Sub-Inspector of Police: Out of 324 candidates trained 18 candidates were selected.
• Police Constables: Out of 578 candidates trained 107 candidates were selected
• Panchayat Secretary: Out of 473 candidates trained 129 candidates selected.
• Junior Linemen & Jr.Asst.cum-Computer Operator: Out of 644 candidates trained 418 candidates were qualified.
• Coaching programme to Foundation Course for Group I, II & III Services was provided to (896) candidates.

• Online coaching programme for Foundation Course of UPSC (Civil)/RRB/SSC and Banking Recruitment has been started from 27.11.2020 for a period of six months, to the BC candidates and completed.
• Online Coaching programme for SBI POs has been completed from Dec., 2020 to Jan, 2021.

• At present 34 BC Study Centers for TSPSC Group III, IV, DSC and Gurukulam Exam Coaching are finalized.
• 34 BC Study Centers have been provided TSPSC Group III, IV offline coaching program to 4090 students.
• UPSC Civil Services 2023: 300 Candidates are provided long term coaching for Civil Service (Prelims & Mains) from 17.10.2022 to 29.05.2023. 200 Students at Hyderabad & 100 Students at Warangal are permitted. 50% of them are selected directly without screening test if they earlier appeared for Civil Services Mains or Group I Mains Exam or obtained 75% and above marks in their Post Graduation.
• TSPSC Group I (Prelims) offline coaching provided for (1091) candidates and  191 candidates have been qualified for TSPSC Group I Prelims Examination.
• 1992 candidates have been taken coaching and 1296 candidates have been qualified for SI of Police & Police Constables Prelims Examination during the month of October, 2022.

Utilizing Social Media Platforms:

The Telangana State Backward classes is successfully utilizing social media platform like YOUTUBE, FACEBOOK, TELEGRAM, WHATSAPP, ETC., for conducting online video classes to the students who are appearing various state and central govt. examinations. Even the institute at Hyderabad is having a small Lecture recording studio used to upload videos in social media.

In the Corona Pandemic Period 2019 to 2022 this Department has successfully conducted and completed coaching classes for UPSC (Prelims -cum- Mains), Group I, Group II, Group III, Group IV, Sub-Inspector, Police Constable, RRB, etc.
